This road
I have taken
Somebody
might have forsaken
- - - - - - - - - - -
Some people I hurt,
some hurt me
Thoughts, actions, of them
we are never free
- - - - - - - - - - - -
To you love was all
to me, it killed
Your deliverance
the imprisonment
of my will
- - - - - - - - - - - - -
Waiting for spring
I learned to love
the falling of leaves
the freezing of lakes
the dying of feelings
- - - - - - - - - - - -
The more you ponder
upon life, the more
you get entangled
in its myriad
of mysteries

The process of writing these may be JUST SOME RANDOM SCRIBBLES but their impact on me went far beyond scribbling and randomness. They hit my mind with emphatic force because your themes were as sharp and clear as the words were brief and penetrating. The last two in particular stunned me. The penultimate one in which you in love with loss was heart-breaking, and the ultimate one could sum up the wistful wisdom of the whole series.
The road less traveled, forsaken. How ignorant and boldly foolish we are in childish certainty at its beginning. How different are the expectations of love, leaving one in the newly budding spring to find comfort and kinship with falling leaves and frozen lakes, more in tune perhaps with the season of our soul. Is the pondering of mysteries like the hole one finds oneself in, digging for truth in the sands of reality and experience only to have our efforts erased by more sand as we dig deeper in futility.
A string of assorted pearls made into a beautiful necklace. The first and the last but one are real gems!
Hi Nosheen, All gems. quite philosophic, quite lovable ones. This road I have taken Somebody might have forsaken- But that does not make it less attractive. If this is the road chosen by one, one would definitely continue to enjoy treading it, no matter what happened with somebody else.. So keep walking... And Waiting for spring In fall, in winter, one would wait for spring, to have all the blossoms, the colours and fragrances to fill one's life. But through the wait, one should learn to love the present too: I learned to love the falling of leaves the freezing of lakes That keeps the life going. And then, the spring will be more enjoyable. For, if you have learned to love falling leaves and freezing lakes, definitely colors and fragances of the spring will be waiting for you...That makes makes your wait more worthwhile.. Great one this is... Loved reading these tiny bits of love, hope and positive energy.. I just have to yellllll! ! ! ! ! : I Want More... A 1000000+++ (Just a million..) .. the dying of feelings
