Mind Your Business Well... Poem by Varsha M

Mind Your Business Well...

Rating: 5.0

Lassitude rule my upper story
With its best efforts to comply
Replacing all hopeful moments I ever lived
Only viewing darkness so prevalent.

Martial arts of mind I call
Blocking all thoughts harmful
Just to make myself successful
Successful in not giving myself full.

Till I fulfill all my wish
Materialze minutes desires, I cherish
And long on couch, I rest
Aha! Finally done my part best.

Till then it's another day again
Let's make it hopeful swain
Though days are destined on earth
We prefer to swim against the gush.

Life is a prescious treasure
Making it meaningful is all our
Submitting to wild cognitive bull
In no sense makes a wise call.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Inspired by Dominic Windram poem how many more years? (November 15,2020) .

We all are in battlefield of mind and we all fight many battles every day. We need to understand what's actually running in our head. Yes every thought and every emotions are necessary for our life but these thoughts and emotions should not rule us but we should know how to make their best use in our lives and our benefits.

Amen. You said it. The war is in the mind not in reality. Right?
