I found fondness
through old
and old talks.
Whey they talk
i just look,
if they owned the story
ive got chairs for my ears
who do no nothing
but to listen.
And for my mouth to shut
Ive got none.
Cause its prefer my lips for a smile
whos Nice and fine.
But to listen! ! And to learn from others as well. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
ive got chairs for my ears...who do nothing but listen., , , , just fine expressions. very creative you are dear poetess.. thank you. tony
It really pays handsomely to be an emphatic listener. Beautiful and insightful poem. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, it is a mark of wisdom to be able to listen, even when your mouth wants to jump in. I love how you take the unexpected and make it tell your story. Well done, Lotlot, I look forward to more. :)
I found fondness.. the very first sentence in this poem tells a lot about you dear poetess...... finding fondness is a great attitude and the prelude to love...... we are all called to love.... first love is the Almighty God and the next love is for the poor and depressed in our society. last line you wrote i prefer my lips for a smile.. again very revealing of your character........ thank you dear poetess. tony
Very sweet and beautifully written, the poem is a bit thoughtful and reflective one.
