Miniscule, Smallest Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Miniscule, Smallest

Rating: 5.0

Miniscule must be small
but also fun, cute, sweet and mischievous
not ridiculous
not tachayul
and especially not a fool
not for swimming in the pool
also not ready for the North Pole
what a fool, do you think over this poet
she is also a lecturer
no niece of the fuehrer
not even a descendant of Albrecht Dürer

So why it is so hot this spring
more than the tropical countries that are on other degrees
what can the heat be a venom
scorching burning on your backs
no hair on my head to let me bask, that lacks
in this puffing hot mouth mask

freezing coldest morning first
no one has big thirst

but it is now, today the heat is coming my way
no language nor sign
from close or distant region

respect and awe
what it touches and may
touch the soul during the coming of day
for the piece of poesie
bit ironic, most artistic
from the poetess Sylvie,

Let me tell: Dubi has its sweetness In muffled sound But tabla yields Loud sounds!
