Mistakes
You learn too late
Or not at all,
Why is man
The only animal
That keeps hitting
His head, against
The same wall?
Goodness, fakes
And hardly ever
Learns,
From his Mistakes?
What an incisive and perceptive write. An astute observation on human behavior. So very true! A great poem to ponder about. A powerful write brilliantly conveyed.
