Mist Poem by Sandra Feldman

Mist

Rating: 5.0

The tortured soul
That lives alone,
Sees the Sea
But not its lofty foam
Nor starfish, oysters' pearls
Nor poetry in life's totality
Is seen or heard.
So closed in loneliness,
Life becomes useless
Emptiness,
Lesser than less.

All alone and quietly
Lost souls into silent
Darkness, do regress
After loss,
Life's reality
Turns into,
Cold and chilling,
Mist,
The heart cannot
Forget!

And finally upon
Life's jagged cliffs
Of memories,
They hope and pray
For what no longer
Can or ever, be
That love so sadly lost,
In life's white Mist,
So suddenly...

And finally upon Life's jagged cliffs Of memories, They hope and pray For what no longer Can or ever, be That love so sadly lost, In life's white Mist, So suddenly...you captured emotions so well. Yes at times it seems difficult but true love withstand them all. Good poetry.
