Mixed Opportunities Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Mixed Opportunities

They do not always come
The way you expect!
With a smiling face...
Or packaged in lace.
Sometimes a sacrifice is done!
Sometimes it may stun,
That they may come from a bum!
Mixed opportunities,
Are available to everyone!
Many times unnoticed...
Right before our eyes!
And we don't realize,
They are in disguise!
One never knows who holds for them,
Their next surprise!
Mixed opportunities
Don't always fall from sun drenched skies!

That's true, talk about serendipity sometimes. Good poem. Marilyn
