Mock You May Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Mock You May

Rating: 5.0

Mock you may.
And laugh at my contributions made,
Critiqued and known.

Perhaps your time would be better spent...
If it was not contributed,
To my attempts meant.

And you could possibly begin to make dents.
Or hop off a fence few refuse to do.
Since this would mean scrutiny!
Garnished with embarrassment.
The hopeful would like to openly view.

And I have used that as motivation.
I will always be inspired...
By that kind of dedication.
It has become part of my creative muse.
With a wish to get paid.
Since I am due for that too!
