Monsoon Garden. (Haiku Verse) Poem by Geoffrey Fafard

Monsoon Garden. (Haiku Verse)

Heavy soaking deluge
Cucumber succulent hangs
Pick me it pleads.

Green Limes smile wet
So many this crop turning ripe
Convert water - juice.

Tree frogs green smiling
Wet happy singing to me
Of ponds, mystery, rain.

Mushrooms flourish strong
Supper for the gardener
Dance in the moisture.

Pandan, snake tree, guava
Lettuce tree, papaya, chilli
Pray to falling rain.
