Moonlit Love Poem by Nosheen Irfan

Moonlit Love

Rating: 4.6

A pale luminosity, the moon
Let's gaze at it, unblinking,
Standing hand in hand, in bliss
Till it wanes, till our bones ache
What a sight!
A silvery fullness of love
Risen above the land of lust
Brighter than the stars of luck
Let's surrender our hearts
Under its watchful eye
Its beauty reflected in us
Its tenderness caught in our gaze
What a delight!
To feel its warmth within our hearts
To let its light surround our thoughts
It's so perfect, so complete
You, me and the moon.
