Mother In The Moon Poem by Indira Renganathan

Mother In The Moon

Rating: 5.0

'When I was a kid
My mother used to show me the full moon
While feeding me my night food

Since then I've been seeing only
My mother in every full moon
But today

You are here
I see only you in every full moon
What does it mean'

'Yeah, even my mother
Used to show me the full moon
When I was a kid

Even I've been seeing only
My mother in the full moon
And only my mother

I love very much
Ever her choice is my choice'

Silence for a little while..
And then,

'Oh, where's your mother? '
'In the moon'

From then
He stopped looking at the moon
