अपने शिशु पर बलिहारी
बालक अपनी महतारी के
जीवन की है फुलवारी
महतारी ओ महतारी
महतारी ओ महतारी
जाये लाल पे अपने वारी
देख देख उसकी मुस्काने
खुद को भूली बेचारी
महतारी ओ महतारी

सुन बालक की किलकारी
बिसर गयी है सुध-बुध जैसे
दुनिया लागे है प्यारी

A mother is is messenger of God for child. A mother spreads fragrance of flowers in child's life. She directs her child in righteous path and her teachings value more. Mother ever guides and protects her child in society. Ever she hears child's demand and urging. Mother has great importance. This is a nice poem that sings glory of mother...10

While I do not understand Hindi, I esteem and miss very much my own mother. She passed away in 2003.
Parents are an inseparable part of our lives. This poem reflects the joyful feelings of a mother for her little baby. Your mom must have left a great influence on your mind. May she rest in peace.
