Mountains Poem by Savita Tyagi

Mountains

In a fast moving world
Mountains make speed irrelevant
Languid afternoon
Emptied tea cup
Eyes closed lazily
I feel the sudden breeze
Entering covered patio
Caressing softly
Mild afternoon sun
Slanted crystal light
Fills me up with warmth!
Colorado! You will be missed!

Never been to that beautiful part of the world, but after reading your lovely poem I can almost feel the warmth and the breeze! -10

I understand that a visit to Colorado, the land of mountains, rivers and gorges inspired you to write this beautiful poem! Enjoyed the breezy feel!
