Mourning After The Morning After Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Mourning After The Morning After

Rating: 5.0

Is a mickey
All that you need
For liberty?
Drown out sorrow
For tomorrow?
Forget last night?
Forget lost night?

Is a quickie
All that you need
For your freedom?
From slavery?
Domesticity?
Life so damn bland?
Wasn't your plan?

Is misery
All that you need
To waken now
From death somehow?
Be born again
From lives before
For tomorrow

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

There is no use in complaining what we could not gain access to. We need to live a full life, understanding our haves and have-nots, set ambitious goals and work towards the goal.

Difficult lessons of life. Yet, man strives to overcome it to the best of his capacity.
