Mr Terror - Poem by Anzelyne shideshe

Oh my eyes, the atrocities I see!
Humans destroying humans,
Religions extinguishing religions,
Brothers endangering sisters,
Nation against nation, globally, everywhere!
Children endangered, women sexually humiliated.
All subjects of Mr Terror.
My ears are numb, they have forfeited their sense,
To bomb blasts and daily grenades,
To ruined buildings, a grim history,
Of burnt bodies on blooded streets,
All hell is broken loose, Heaven come to my rescue,
Take me away from Mr Terror.
I have been demonised,
Made prisoner to silence,
My dreams are shattered, my thoughts crippled,
My soul haunted, I cannot face my neighbour,
They have become strangers, my brothers too,
At the hands of Mr Terror.
Armageddon has begun, hunger and disease,
Spread like a virus, your fear and hatred spread,
Their contagion, like wild fire,
Yet, like a phoenix I rise from the ashes of your destruction,
Arise, recovered from the virus,
The purpose to stop Mr Terror.

Extremely intense and gripping poem, feelings like fireworks bursting through each line, touching with the horror of this atrocity each of our minds. Terrorists have no hearts, they are centered on themselves, their egos, their lust and care not an iota for anyone else. There is no solution but death for them, it's the only way our world can have any peace for terrorists are fanatical and listen to no one, just being stuck within their barbaric ignorance. Very intense and honest portrayal of terror and it's devastating horror! 10++++++++++++ Thank you for sharing this poem filled with truth for the world today, may it strike a fire in the hearts of man to do away with violence once and for all. An insightful depiction of man inhumanity to man - horrendous maiming of innocent lives by overzealous and brainwashed bigots, whose spiritual and emotional wellbeing have been systematically retarded. A lovely piece of poetry with a clarion call for universal brotherhood of man. Thanks for sharing Anzelyne. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON. (Report) Reply

Hi Anzelyne, The terror is a multifaceted problem serving many untrustworthy partners in crime. Many questions to be asked without an answer. Hidden secrecy in the hands of a big brother who is more interested in money than peace. However your poem is very strong and a moving statement leaving this question open for interpretation. Very well written. Greetings Paul (Report) Reply

Hi Paul, thanks for commenting. We need to engage more on TERROR as a global menace.
Atleast for a start word of mouth will do through poetry.AS they say money is the root cause of major problems, and every problem has a solution, the question remains what's the solution to terrorism? Thanks for reading.
