Mrs. Whiskers! Bring Back My Keys! Please! ? (Worrisome Humans) Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Mrs. Whiskers! Bring Back My Keys! Please! ? (Worrisome Humans)

A cat jumped behind the wheel
Of a car.
Her human curiously rose his eyebrow
When he heard the car in reverse
Down the driveway.
She looked at the front door
Before she pulled off &
Saw him standing there
Her human with low cut eyes
Life is too short for anything
To make sense-
She didn't even try to pretend.
That night
Her human died of starvation
Not once did she think if she
Fed her human
But soon she'll think of all the ways
She could have loved him better
Perhaps when she runs out of gas
If the police don't catch her first
