Mrs. Clause Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Mrs. Clause

Mrs. Clause it's you I'm looking forward to seeing this Christmas,
The nights grown old, too cold to spend alone,
For this night out of the year,
You too should be shown appreciation for all that you do,
For each letter, each gift,
But where is your gift,
Let there be a carol made in your name,
An eclipse of hands made in the shadows by the stockings that
Hang by the fire,
A fire made between your eye and mine,
Mrs. Clause,
Watch the chill bumps hitch hike from your arm to mine,
As each thought impregnants another,
Fulfilling the thrist that's gone unanswered for so long,
For Christmas couldn't begin to go on without you as well,
To be cherished, to be held,
A foreclosure of lights that sparkle through the night sky,
As one goes out, and another lights up,
The bells couldn't begin to ring without your voice,
This Christmas,
Mrs. Clause it's you I'm looking forward to seeing
