My American Thanksgiving
My American Thanksgiving ia all about a turkey dinner
Provided by Swanson's
As I watch a marathon of Forensic Files
And other repeated American shows on
A Canadian channel
But everyone here is waiting to cross-border shop
On the next day
To get the deals that will perform at Christmas
We celebrate Thanksgiving in October
But it isn't a big deal over here
It's Christmas
However, being the only American in the family
I feel left out this time of the year
Thankfulness is just a tiny word yet it creates wonders and joy. Happy Thanksgiving, LeeAnn! !
I LOVE Forensic Files! One of the best shows ever. Thanksgiving is great! I feel sorry for you there in Canada, with no other U. S. citizens around with which to celebrate!
