My Anisoptera Costate.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

My Anisoptera Costate....

Rating: 5.0

My Anisoptera Costate, impressions from Thai

my most favourite colour,
is dark moss green
my favourite ardour,
walking between all the green

I have also seen a skylark,
in the Taksin Maharat Park
is this my song for this morning?
I still must learn to sing, darling

But remember one thing, my darling
This morning, this morning, this very morning
I ´ve made friends with the Giant of Thai
I happened to meet him up there
he reached almost the Mae Sot sky
so huge and handsome in harmony
amongst my most favourite tree
the Anisoptera Costate, call its simple name
the Krabak tree, just for me, just for me

when I wish to go home and say good bye
I cannot embrace him, he´s too tall
please, do not ask me constantly why
he is too big, too high, my deepest sigh
and too………….yes, I say it, and he is too…. fat
darling, that´s my greatest grief, I am so very very sad….

A very mice poem between myth and reality. Green is the color of hope. Your words are the color of dreams , imagination and beauty as your thoughts in this poetic fantasy, you so perfectly, develop.

Dear Sandra, I had been here to see the Anisoptera Costate when I visited this greenest park ever near Mae Sot. Really cute and very very tall. All still exist, dear poetess. Thank you for your precious visit and kindest response. God´s Blessings.
