My Baton
I have a number in me
That doesn't count much
A number that helps fulfill
My wishes as such
I have a letter in me
That doesn't pronounce much
A letter that helps me stand out
Without any crutch
I do have a word in me
That propels me off
A word that is known as Hope-
A baton- leadoff

Lovely baton leadoff. Yes I stand out because of this silent letter that connects but still never demands its presence. Good notion.
