My Dear Friend Poem by David Beckham

My Dear Friend

Rating: 5.0

In my heart, a trail
And footprints, my dear, you left
The prints, the impressions you made
In my life, my heart, you live

In the time that we have been friends
Your company has being immense
So comforting your words to me
Joyful feeling, your presence is

Like sandcastles on the beach
The waves will roll on shore
Many collapsed that are friends
The one left standing was you

I know no one like you
To sacrifice self for friends
The Sun, the Moon, the Stars
Will shine forever on you

How very forlorn, but at the same time Affectionate and loving... You to have captured the art of both feelings, and they complete one another, in a dance you might say. A dance of Poetry. :) This was a very impressionable poem! Thank you for letting me, and others read this work!
