My Love
My love is not ideal, it has never been,
How can it be when I am only a human being?
I fight over little things; I make you go crazy,
I don't wake you up every morning because I am too lazy,
I talk too much and I also obsess,
I annoy you just for fun, today I confess,
I can be selfish and I hurt you sometimes,
Seeing you hurt hurts me more, I'm not lying,
For loving you, I have a massive price to pay,
But honey, is there really no other way?
For I can't bear to see you leave, it will destroy me,
Even if in your mind that is how it needs to be,
I can't lose you to circumstances and obligations, I won't lie,
The mere thought of it makes me want to die,
I want to keep you for myself and run away,
And not care about what the society will have to say,
Does only sacrifice equals to love? And that too for whom?
Why can't I be the bride when you are the groom?
My love is not ideal and is also selfish but it's all for you,
And I'll keep fighting till the end because you love me too.
