My Sweet Diamond - Poem by Michael P. McParland
My sweet diamond shines so bright
and boldly beautiful before me,
amazing me with the brilliance she carries
and the close to blinding light of love.
She is a diamond in the rough and a precious gem,
my sweet Angel dove I kneel before thee now.
My sweet diamond of pure beauty dazzles me,
stunning and amazing a heart of gold,
a soul so wonderful, pure, and clean.
A blessing without a doubt
one of Gods most beloved he gifted down to earth.
A woman I so deeply treasure and admire,
I wish to have her hand forever.
My sweet diamond is my best friend and the greatest treasure,
before my eyes she stands on high and I ask for
her forgiveness in all my weakness needing her sweet love.
My sweet diamond is the reason I keep on living
finding hope and light within an earthly mental prison.
She's my diamond and my Queen I so treasure deeply in every way,
I hope and pray to have her as my wife one day.
