Say, isn't this photograph great?
Can you identify the state?
If so, that would be terrific.
Later, we'll get more specific.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is found within one of the 48 contiguous states of the United States of America. Do you know the state in which it is found?

Can you do better than that and tell specifically where in that state it is found?

(This is not a contest. There is no prize except GLORY.)

Would it be near Wyoming per chance?

Thanks for guessing, Smoky. This is not found in the state of Wyoming, so Wyoming and Utah have now been eliminated. Only 46 more possibilities!

It reminds me somewhat of balancing rock in Arches National Park, Utah, but I don't think that's it. It does look like Utah though. Perhaps in Goblin Valley or Capitol Reef National Park?

It actually is called Balancing Rock, if I remember correctly, and it is found in a Western state very close to Utah. Click on next poem for the answer.
