Nice To Dream Poem by David Harris

Nice To Dream

Rating: 5.0

There are days when you wish
you were lazing on a sunny beach
in the tropics somewhere.
Sitting under a palm tree
with a beautiful woman under your arm,
alone just the two of you
without a care in the world.
Sitting there watching the sun
slip out of the sky in the west
and the moon slowly climbing in the east.
If only this was reality,
but it is nice to dream at least.

Why don't I dream of sunny beaches etc., but somehow I never do, my dreams are crazy mixed up happenings that I can't really remember when I wake up, only little flashes of something that is elusive. Lovely thought though, especially with our summer this year, can't even get as far as lazing, let alone a sunny place to laze in. Nice write David. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
