Nicolas Cage - Poem by J R Reynolds
I am a world class actor,
Just like Nicolas Cage,
But while his heart is pure and clean,
Mine is full of hate and rage.
I am twenty seven years old,
I have never had a single acting lesson,
But in my soul and in my heart,
I carry anger, pity and depression.
I pretend to be happy,
But only on the outside,
I act like I am normal,
My feelings I tend to hide.
I do not adhere to society standards,
Keeping my thoughts tucked away,
Acting like a good person,
Waiting for my final day.
Pretending to be something I am not,
Making you believe that I really care,
Showing acts of love and compassion,
Harvesting acts of fear and despair.
Acting like a good father, son and husband,
Is my day to day role,
Wanting to be a betting person,
Knowing that I am out of control.
So if you see a new movie,
And his acting leaves you amazed,
Just remember all along,
I am a better actor than Nicolas Cage.
