Night Is Growing More Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Night Is Growing More

Rating: 5.0

Bearing veil of darkness
This night is growing more
Crawling shadow is favoured
In search of new light we go.

We sleep and dream to wake
To see light of dawn rays
Dew of twilight is seen far
Stars twinkle and giggle more.

We hope to sketch these again
Sketching is inherited within
Darkness sparks to welcome
Vision is marvelously painted.

Growing more still night sees
The veil will be uncovered soon
Face will glaze at morning
We all shall adore dear God.

I usually read your poems in the morning, for most of them have an aroma of freshness and serenity, but I am glad I am reading this poem now, as at the moment is already dark and the stars are bright upon the sky!
