Danger, danger all around...
Worldly tears came to rest at a long
measured affronted mournful breast.
In our heart's God's promised freedom
of country were shed many unnumbered tears...
A deadly reckoning, awakened many hidden fears.
T'was over three thousand deaths, had left to us all,
an enlargened painful cross to bear...
The whole free world has outburdened to all, a woeful,
saddened care.
This saddened burden was brought to bare...
Planely smokey, flame emblazoned twin buildings once stood
real proud and tall.
This pain filled catastrophe, ignited in America,
a much vengeful-freedom's call.

Fine tribute, Mike...I live 25 min. from ground zero, and watched the 2ND plane hit Tower 2 live and close up...I Iremember the constant eerie echoes of the disaster vehicles crying their sirens into the night streets and the awestriking sight of air force hellicopters flying over our house, with their always hidden arms, exposed and pivoting left to right...ready at an eye-flash of errant movement to release their power unhesitatingly.....Someday, when i think it appropriate, i hope to write a book titled: ' 9/11 Through The Eyes Of Someone Who Could Only Watch...' Good read, Michael......FRANK/FJR
