when we 1st broke up, i was all choked up
i despised you, and blamed it all on you too.........
i hated the fact, of the love you lacked
and the fact, how i wanted you back
but now im nolonger blind, now i see
that you leaving, was the best thing for me
all you ever gave to me, was heart ache and misery

now with time.......that has passed by
i find...no regrets with your goodbye
yeah there are still some things i wish could have been
maybe like us being better friends
and how we let us end...........
but no regrets about you and i..we gave it a good run n try
we just were never able to see eye to eye
thats how come we said goodbye

at the time it hurt, at the time there was pain
at that moment you left, i hated your name
everything that was to fault, you were to blame
but now i see the real truth....and i finally feel
that you..and i were never real...
it was all to surreal

as isaid, with this new found clarity in my head
i hate you no more, i dont despise you as before
im glad that you set me...free
i nolonger hold any regrets.....i nolonger vent
i know now it was for the best.....for the 2 of us
we were just kidding thinking we were in love
i just suggest...we learn from our mistakes
and next time we try a relationship..we both give and take
we both are to blame..the faults all the same
so for the best, we flunked loves test
so let, there be no regrets..............
