Not Listening Poem by Ann Beard

Not Listening

Rating: 4.6

I was not listening

could not share my,

thoughts with you today.

To tear my gaze

away from winter,

changing

in the coolest way.

And even in the springtime,

when next you come to call

Manuka blushing prettily

Kowhai hung with gold

I cannot promise

anything,

I am enticed to watch it all.
