Not Too Proud A Story Poem by Sandra Feldman

Not Too Proud A Story

Rating: 5.0

Inner lamps,
Intelligence, stamps
Have carried us
So far!
So why have we
Not dropped,
Our ancient poisons
On the way?
And no matter
What is done or taught
Keep, carrying on
In such inhuman
And destructive ways?
Not too proud a story
Of abuses, crime,
No glory.

This scenario has been already forewarned by Apostle Paul in II Timothy 3: 1-5: A well crafted poem, dear Ma’am Sandra...10+++

You are absolutely right, Sandra! The story of most human beings - A sad tale indeed! Nothing to be proud about. Though the inner light shines within all human beings, yet, it is only a handful that identify the light within to choose the path of righteousness. More crime than glory! ......10
