Nothing But Your Oath Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Nothing But Your Oath

Rating: 5.0

R-eaffirm your sacred oath,
E-arnestly make a promise;
S-aturday December thirtieth,
A-llow not your ship to go amiss.
L-ove inside your heart
I-s coupled with solid faith;
E-ven though the race is long, you want to reach the heaven's gate.

S-tarting to complete the journey
I-s leading you to the finish line;
D-on't let your pledge be broken,
L-et it instead be done so fine.
A-im to renew your solemn vow,
C-hoose to keep your boat afloat;
A-s you humbly reaffirm
N-othing but your oath.
