Now Flight Poem by Sandra Feldman

Now Flight

Rating: 5.0

Connect me to the sky
Not to my computer
Today I want,
Liberating wings,
Liberating flight
As my suitor.

Fly me to the Sea,
That I miss so much,
Where the salty waters,
My hands may touch,
Renew, my spirit
I feel it gone,
I feel nothing
That can set me on,
A new found path,
All joy, undone.

Empty alone,
Burning in the ashes
Of memories far done,
With only the vibrations
Of a sounding gong,
No place to go,
No place to run.
No one to turn to,
That will hold my hand.

Another grand, mystical poem you have presented to us; beautiful.

You never cease to amaze me! This poem is poetry receiving sprit with life coming out of raw clay! The calling of the enchanted sea, that newfound path Sandra, is your passion for poetry that renews with every sunrise, the last 9 lines are very sad but I have faith in the healing power to the sea, renewed sprit is coming your way in the next wave, I'm sure of it! 😊 What an awesome poem!
