Ode To The Water
I am Water!
I am liquid and fluid;
malleable and shapeless:
I am water—like energy itself!
I am transparent and effortless: I flow...
I just flow with energy—with life itself!
I am undefined, unique, and indifferent
To where or how I travel—
I journey through everything!
Changing in time; with time, everything I erode,
I form and transform—I alter everything behind me...
I am Water!
I am colourless, odourless;
I am pure, I cleanse,
I purify everything effortlessly:
I am propelled by no volition; yet, I am propelled
and metamorphosed—morphing everything:
I am rain, snowflakes, icicles, icy stars:
I am purity itself!
I am Water!
I sing suave melodies, and you serenely swim
in my turquoise your dreams of heart and soul;
I embalm you with my freshness; fish-like undulations
in my eerie echoes from the Underwater;
I quench your thirst, nourish, and rebalance
my siblings—your brain and body:
I am Water!
A fabulous ode to water! The magnificent expression flows like water from the very first word to the last word! I feel the poetess has expressed herself as water! A sparkling piece of poetry!
