Of Life, The Flow Poem by Sandra Feldman

Of Life, The Flow

Rating: 5.0

Drowning in the deep hollow chambers
Of pitiful distress,
Where there are no contenders,
Just unhappiness,
Life seems like a shadow,
That travels back and forth,
Darkness, a step away
Frustration, of course.

No where to go,
No where to stay
And this drowning Silence,
That rivets you away,
That chokes a little more,
Each passing day.

Gone are the smiles,
That with you one day,
We shared together,
Like children at play.
But Life is not easy,
Solitude less,
Love is a necessity,
Above all else.

Gone are the smiles, That with you one day, We shared together, Like children at play.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I think this was a well chosen metaphor for this poem, it sparks a nostalgia, a yearning, in and of itself. Excellent, Sandra.10

We all need to both give and receive love. Peace and love, Sandra

Life seems like a shadow. Unhappiness darkens the steps of life. Frustration breaks life's status. With day, smiles are gone away. This poem is wonderful and sadness is wisely presented in this poem...10
