Life itself is one
Of the hardest relationships
To understand.
Overly complex yet overly sad
In simplicity.
Just like people, one minute you
Meet someone & your outlook
On everything you knew changes.
At that same moment they are gone
without a glimpse,
Without another word.
It seems like it's a long time
But in reality time itself
Is but a concept,
Slipping through our fingers
On God's sketch pad.
Change is inevitable,
Eventually everything runs
Off the page
