Oh My God Poem by Rose Marie Juan-austin

Oh My God

Rating: 5.0

Three simple words
Commonly used
A mode of expression
Frequently abused.

When you are angry or frustrated
You bark, Oh My God
In excitement or in shock
You shout, Oh My God.

When you hold your breath in awe
In between gasps you say, Oh My God
If you feel low or dismayed
And your energy is melting away
You repetitiously moan
Oh My God, Oh My God, Oh My God.

Oh My God
You are everywhere
Mouthed by people of all ranks
Of all ages and of all colors
At all times
A concrete manifestation
That we acknowledge God
In our daily lives.

God is omnipresent, we can always feel and find him everything that we see that we do, you have very well expressed ' a concrete manifestation'.....A sublime piece of poetry Rose, loved reading it..10

All expressed about God are fine and true. But it does not matter to Him even if we abuse, he is above all the real great.

There is a story here, apocryphal may be... There was once a cruel robber who would not only rob, but kill people, and then record it mara, mara (killed) on the wall. He would love to read it often.. But mara, mara would become raama, raama (name of god) when he died he was given credit for uttering God's name so often.. Perhaps we all hope so
