I love that pink colour. It's beautiful to imagine the scene... wonderful.

hey, laurie! glad you liked it. no, i did not intend a pun on petals. this little poem reports something i saw in my inner eye, my imagination- i don't know why. it was lovely to me- and fleeting- and mysterious. pedals away was just an efficient way to phrase it. good to hear from you! -glen
