On Yr Birthday (Fr. Aida Azzopardi) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

On Yr Birthday (Fr. Aida Azzopardi)

Rating: 5.0

On yr birthday
The night will be brightened by fireworks
On yr biirthday
My heart will be breaking
For I am without you
And the pieces I will swallow
Would be bitter like my tears
And cannot quenche my thirst
For yr touch
As I love you, the days grow longer
With heartache
Hoping one day, I will be with you
As I hold on to yr memory
My tears continue to flow
