We each strive to write " one poem" that must mark our presence as we journey through life. But like a poem that is read and then forgotten, we pass through and flourish for a time until it is time for others to take our place. Our lives then are " that perfect poem" we seek – images and feelings sans words, lives just passing through … A poem is written to be shared, as life is lived to be shared. What better poem is there, other that our lives?

Oh yes! The power of poetry is for believers...we can touch the face of dead loved ones, with command of words we can exicute the wicked and raise the dead, for God himself is a poet...his word is filled with it and he has granted us, yes us who were created in his image to have the privilege of expanding on it....the perfect poem is short lived yet..this is fitting for it is a tree..shedding its leaves for new ones! ! !
