Our Love Across The Water Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Our Love Across The Water

Rating: 5.0

Let me sail far away
Across the oceans and seas
While I try to leave the memories of you behind
I watch the dolphins going in and out of the water
As they sing with delight
They show no burdens that I can see
Until the night begins to fall
I continue to watch them play
As the stars commence to sparkle among the darkness
And the moon glows the image of yr face
Makes me think you loved me after all
With the dolphins' lead
I am returning to you
To ask forgiveness for my absence
And I will make a promise
To make leave until the bitter end
