Oxeye Daisy Poem by Rebecca Navarre

Oxeye Daisy

Rating: 5.0

Stop to take some time,
to think, to pray. Watch the
clouds drift, and float away.
Watch the little white oxeye
flowers blossom, so beautiful,
so gay. Watch the winds
strengthen them, as they rock
and sway. As stronger they
will be tomorrow, then they
were yesterday.

What a beautiful and meaningful poem, dear friend! There is nothing like being in nature to focus the mind on God! And, indeed, just as in God's mysterious providences the wind strengthens the daisies, so the storms of this life strengthen the saints!

A vivid and wonderful depiction of resilience, hope and perseverance with the generous wands of nature and eternal love of God Almighty. So heartwarming and inspiring. Another favorite.
