Parallel Paths Poem by Zen Bojczuk

Parallel Paths

Rating: 5.0

Travelers on parallel paths.
We stopped and talked
…Compared life’s maps
Found consolation in the
validation of knowing
we are not alone.

We traveled over common ground,
carrying both burdens and hopes.
Let me help you with your load.
Thanks for sharing your water.
Wondering where paths will lead,
as we marvel at this unexpected flower.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Oh, Zen, this is just as beautiful as anyone could hope for on a sizzling hot Monday morning. What an unexpected flower is right!

Heaven knows why I didn'tread this before...but it's very lovely Zen! ! I have shared parallel paths...and find comfort in the fact that there is someone else out there who shares many of the same thoughts and feelings that I do. Hugs, Dee

You know, this poem is so close to the cutting edge of a great sonnet...not that it isn't a gem as is...but, I kept getting the idea of cadence and rythmn when i read it. What say you, sir? ? ? xxxElysabeth

A top class write. 'consolation in the validation of knowing we are not alone' is one hugely memorable line applicable to so many things... t x
