I love listening to music with you
The differences that make you & I
all fade at the press of a button.
All without a need for headphones.
I love listening to music with you
Finding out how much we correlate
to each others taste
over the strum of drums & guitars.
My heart the building & you the plane that crashes into it
at high impact.
We resonate in the rumble of flames.
Tumbling & spiraling piece by piece into each other.
I love listening to music with you
Finding peace & solace.
Our differences the very thing that brings us together.
Connecting us at the root of our soul.
No matter how far we go
The melody of the plane crashing into the building
leaves it's trail of smoke.
No matter how far under the rubble we are
