Pearls On My Mind Poem by Evelyn Judy Buehler

Pearls On My Mind

Rating: 5.0

Dewdrops on ivory rose, and fresh milk splashing,
And mulberry evenings, when jewelry is flashing,
A chocolate covered candy, sweet coconut delight,
Savored in pale moonbeams and glittery starlight.

My mind's full of pearls, precious and everywhere,
Like sunbeams on snowflakes, or butterflies in air!
Like melting ice cream, in lemony sun, soon gone-
And like creamy moonstone, at the rouge of dawn.

You made me hungry with the mention of chocolate-covered candy Bravo!
