Pedals Of A Rose Poem by Jessica Elizondo

There is a ledgend of what the pedals of a rose represent, Courage,

Honor, Bravery, Passion, Grace, Happiness, Darkness, Sadness,

Power, and ofcourse Love. Its why we use this beauiful, yet delicate

flower to represent how we feel. We use it to mark a loved ones grave

so they are never forgoten, we give it to the ones we love to show how

much we care, we have tatoos of roses to show we're tough, we give it

to someone whos having not the best of days, we give it to our lovers

to show our true passion, and we mourn with it and hide in the

shadows, these are just a few examples. what you may see as just a

flower that shows emotion, I see as a beautiful work of art and a true

treasure of the heart. We are simular to the rose, you see its born from

a seed, grown with care and dies with peace. but along its journey its

used in these many diffrent way to make a diffrence in the world. As

can we. We aren't beautiful for what we look like. But are each

beautiful for what we do.
