Pink Place Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Pink Place

Rating: 5.0

J-ust let the evening pass,
A-s the dawn begins to break;
S-unday replaces Saturday,
M-orn has the chance to take.
I-t's a sweet lovely day,
N-ight shadows disappear;
E-ighteenth of December, beacon brings light and cheer.

O-pen your heart to the sunshine,
R-ay carries warmth and color;
I-t ignores the darkness,
L-etting the sky open its door.
I-t's a delightful birthday, no more mist and haze;
O-nce the coal clouds are gone, a lane is a pink place.
