Pink Skyline Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Pink Skyline

J-ust get up from sleep,
E-arly in the morning;
N-ight chill disappears,
N-ew day is dawning.
I-t's a beautiful dawn,
F-riday is so sweet;
E-vening shadows fade,
R-ay and zenith meet.

V-ile weather leaves,
E-vading the beacon;
N-inth of December
T-reads the horizon.
I-nclement clime surrenders,
G-iving up to the sunshine;
A-llowing the light to share
N-othing but the pink skyline.
