Poem In A Bottle Poem by Not Long Left

Poem In A Bottle

Rating: 5.0

For who ever this does reach,
on some foriegn sandy beach,
I sent this from southend pier,
2005 was the year.

I hope this little suprise,
Puts a sparkle in your eyes,
A little something from me to you
A journey across the endless blue.

A poem in a bottle surfing the waves,
Swirling and bobbing for days and days.
Through wind, rain, thunder and sun,
I hope this poem doesn't sink before its begun.

Yet should this poem not reach a sandy shore,
I hope it rests upon the ocean bed
and remains a poem in the sea forever more.
