Hearts on fire, burn ahead,
Poems written, poems read,
There are some that mark you so,
That forever with you go,
Like a friend or like a lover,
Just enamored with each other.

Every once in a while, someone will comment on a poem I posted 10-18 months ago. When I go to reply, and read my old poem when I'm there, I feel like I am visiting an old friend. : -)
